Megan Fox will not be returning for the third installment of Transformers, ET.com reports.

Paramount Studios declined to pick up the 24-year-old actress' contract. Though no reason was given, this news comes a few months after an alleged dispute with cast and crew members of the second film, who wrote an open letter on director Michael Bay's website condemning her behavior.

Patrick Dempsey to play "dark" role in Transformers 3

Calls to both Fox's reps and Paramount Studio were not immediately returned.
