Anyone played it yet? I'm debating on buying it (or not). I enjoy GTA, but I guess this is slightly (probably an understatement) different considering it takes place in the wild west.

IGN gave it 9.7 and they are usually pretty harsh with their reviews. I'm probably gonna rent it and try it but I wanna get GOW3 first.

I ended up renting it. It's actually a lot of fun. Though I didn't really dig the herding of the cattle and horses part.

IGN reviews can be bought but yes they do let their fanboyisms get in the way and think that being constantly negative and harsh is cool with the defense "I don't know about the rest of you but I personally have quite high standards." |

IGN and myself tend to have the same taste, not a lot of people liked Resistance 2 but I still play it to this day and IGN gave it a great review, i'm not an IGN sheep or anything I just tend to enjoy the games that they do.....Except for GTA 4, I still can't believe they gave that a perfect score.... |

I think it was pretty worthy of it's score on IGN. GTA 4 wasn't though.
