It's one of my favourite songs, and his version is amazing. =]
But I love her voice, and think she works the climax part better than him.

While I can never decide if I prefer this to the original, it's a bloody cracking version and is worthy of a mention anyway. This guy is such an underrated singer, I wonder how many of you have even heard of him.
Fun fact for you Tiarnán, one of his daughters is now a back-up singer on American Idol

This reminds me, another cover that beats the original (or at least comes very close to beating it) is Angra's cover of Led Zeppelin's Kashmir. I love LedZeps cover, but the metal version by Angra is sick!
