Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You
She slaughtered one of the greatest ballads ever. It's sad that Dolly rarely gets credit for that song, even though her version is a billion times better.

Metallicas version of Whiskey in the Jar is an insult to music. Their cover of Iron Maidens Prowler, and Remember Tomorrow are Godawful too. Its bad enough they steal their best riffs from Maiden and random unknown bands like Excel but murdering good metal is a crime. Write your own damn music Kirk! And Cradle of Filths cover of Hallowed be thy Name shouldnt have happened either.

If we're talking about bad covers of Irish songs, have you heard the Dropkick Murphys version of 'Fields of Athenry'? It's a great song when it's done right, but it barely ever is. And this is the worst by far, lol.

Iron Maiden should cover it, they'd do a fantastic job! ;D

Tori Amos covers are all better than the original. Always.
I got to sing 'Fields of Athenry' in Cape Town. It was pretty cool.
