just to continue that discussion with Cringe and to see what everyone thought of the films.
The first was good, the second was meh, the third was decent in some parts, the 4th was just crap.

First one is great, second one is ok, third is boring, fourth wasn't needed.

The 4th one had voodoo!
completely random I know, but it was there in the novel! (According to Cringe)
The original author only wrote the first one, right?

1st was the greatest movie ever made, second one was pretty good in my opinion . . . for what it was . . . The third once sucked ass, and The Revenge . . . I enjoyed it more than 3D being perfectly honest. Oh and the book was awesome, although this is one of the few cases where the movie version surpasses the books in terms of excellence.

The 4th Movie didn't have voodoo, the novelization tried to explain the movie by introducing the whole voodoo curse thing

The first one is great. The second is pretty bad. I can’t remember the third and fourth, which probably says it all.
