It was only being used as a back up DVD player anyway and the handful of xbox games I still play work on the 360 anyway. you confused me, for a min I thought you meant your 360 and was confused . . . Hubby's slimline ps3 doesn't play ps2 games like his old one did. |

I really wish my PS3 played all my old PS2 games. I miss the awesomeness that was GTA: San Andreas.

Well I've heard that they are gonna re release some of the old PS2 franchises as like box set collections for the PS3. Similar to what they did with the the original God of War games. Soon enough you could be playing both San Andreas and Vice City in HD with trophy support. |

Well I've heard that they are gonna re release some of the old PS2 franchises as like box set collections for the PS3. Similar to what they did with the the original God of War games. Soon enough you could be playing both San Andreas and Vice City in HD with trophy support. Why the fuck couldn't they have done this 4 years ago?!!!?  Better late than never though, I guess, lol. |

There was a push to have the PS3 slim to be able to play PS2 games but Sony decided that no one wanted it. I still have a dozen or so Xbox games, I don't see myself parting with Panzer Dragoon Orta anytime soon  No, Sony decided it was more profitable for them if it did NOT play ps2 games . . .  |
