If you are too smart for yout University, shouldn't you find a new one? It would be more of a case of not enrolling in another unit in that department. Unit? Is that like a class or something? |

You're obviously ignoring the part where you write to suit your audience. In this instance you apparently need to pretend your audience is a group of preteens.

As for my target audience, it's an academic essay so at worst they would be first year students just out of highschool. its done now as dumbified as I'm going to make it  If people out of high school there are as dumb as people out of high school here, then you might as well make sure some random little kid in the street can read it. . . or any that you know. . . Oh the lovely memories of 11th grade English. . . "du duh cru-crushable" Come to think of it, I don't think a crucible is even mentioned in the story, but you get the point. |

Nothing personal but I don't think the entrance grade uni students here would be as dumb as ye average American highschooler, although in some instances I'm sure there isn't much difference I can't take offense to that, the only way to get a halfway decent education here is to go to a private or catholic school... which is private, lol! My school was an "A" School and I graduated with a 3.6/4.0 when I was half asleep for 80% of the classes. The schools and our society in general promote stupidity and wonder why our kids are retarded. |
