My personal game of the year is Mafia II, making 2010 the first year since 2001 that a non-wrestling game has been my game of the year. What can I say? I'm usually easily pleased and wrestling games have the replayability that most other games don't have. Unfortunately SDvR11 hasn't got the replayability factor at all.

I'd have to say Red Dead Redemption based on the fact it's the only game I really liked other then F1.

UFC 09 or Batman Arkham Asylum. . . So what your saying is, your game of the year for 2010 is one of two games that came out in 2009, right?

SmackDown V RAW 2011 wins by default for me. The only other game I bought this year was UFC Undisputed and I got bored with that after 5 minutes. At least I got a week or two out of SvR.

Red Dead Redemption for me. This pretty much getting the nudge as I've finally decided to start trying the online out on it while I've been struck down with man-flu.
Mafia 2 was alright, it had a great storyline (before spiralling out of control by the end) but there was literally nothing else to do, which is a shame because it had nice graphics. 0 replayability for me too.

I agree the storyline does get a bit shit towards the end but for the majority it's great. I play the DLC more than the main game now so the replayability is there for me.

Either God of War 3 or, controversial choice coming up here, Heavy Rain. Gow3 was unreal, besides the fact that it actually had a very good storyline with a fantastic re-imagining of Greek mythology and was extremely fun to play, there is nothing more satisfying than ripping sentries in half, tearing a God's head off and literally beating Hercules' face in. Its probably the most violent and bloody game in a long time.
What can one say about Heavy Rain? The most original game in God knows how long, it wasnt everyones cup of tea at all but it was literally like watching an action mystery thriller type movie and controlling what the characters did, yet still had what we love about videogames like all the kickass shootouts, fight scenes and car chases. Excellent storyline and fantastic creative gameplay.
