I've enjoyed My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy by Kanye West, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager by KiD CuDi, Teenage Dream by Katy Perry, The Beginning by Black Eyed Peas, The Illusion of Safety by The Hoosiers, The Adventures of Bobby Ray by B.o.B. and Chasing the Grail by Fozzy. But My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is leagues above the rest, infact I'd say it's a modern day masterpiece.

1. Reflection Eternal - Revolutions Per Minute 2. Joe Budden - Mood Muzik 4 3. Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy 4. Gorillaz - Plastic Beach 5. Nicki Minaj - Pink Friday
Honorable mentions: Eminem: Recovery (his best album in almost a decade) and Soundgarden: Telephantasm (was an awesome greatest hits CD/DVD).
Kid Cudi’s second album was a huge letdown for me.

Kid Cudi’s second album was a huge letdown for me. It's definitely nowhere near as good as the first one but it took me a few months to get into his first one, so I'm assuming it'll take the same amount of time for me to get into this one. Scott Mescudi vs. the World, REVOFEV, Marijuana, Mojo So Dope, Erase Me, MANIAC, Mr Rager, GHOST! and Trapped in My Mind are the songs I get and I'm into but the others are quite mediocre.

I must be the only person who thinks Kanyes album is droll and repetitive.

Now don't get me wrong, it's got some good beats, as most of Kanye's stuff does. But the lyrics are pretty poor virtually throughout. Kanye doesn't even have the best rhymes on the album.

There have been some really good ones, but album of the year is Mary Chapin Carpenter's 'The Age of Miracles'.

The production is brilliant but there are too many guest appearances and the lyrics are really nothing to write home about. Much like a Dr. Dre album, only with less weed references.

Obvious answer is obvious:
Iron Maiden - The Final Frontier
Honourable mention of course goes to Annihilator's self-titled album, Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold, Asylum by Disturbed, 7 Sinners by Helloween, Sabaton's Coat of Arms and Korn III. The World is Yours by Motorhead will probably make the list when it comes out next week.
