Only one mall in L.A? And all the robots know it? If you go back and notice I'm implying they're paedophiles, you'll see how devoted I am to the argument. Actually, I knew that you didn't care when you couldn't give me one example of what's so good about T1, what really interest me is why do you care that I don't like that film, the world will not explode just because one person doesn't want to blindly praise a piece of shit film.

I don't need to give you squat, because it's still the better movie in the series.
Have you got round to watching Serenity yet, or are you sticking with the likes of T3?

I haven't gotten around to watching much of anything yet. Just because you say T1 is good it doesn't make it true.

Doesn't make it false either. Deal with it.
Until you watch Serenity, you shouldn't even be discussing sci-fi.

There really is no need to, this is Dust just starting random crap with people again. His whole argument is that T1 is good just because he says it is, sooner or later he will learn like every other child does, that just because they want to force their opinions on others, it doesn't mean they will be accepted. He has proven my point about T1 fans a million times over in this thread already, there really is no need to continue wasting time on it.

Not liking Terminator movies is ok but if anyone bags on Gremlins again will personally hunt them down and rip there eyes out.

You didn't say anything about T1 fans, so how can you have a point?
I wasn't saying Gremlins was a bad movie, I was knocking its effects to disprove bbsy's assertation that T1's effects were bad for the time. Compared to Gremlins and Last Starfighter, it holds up incredibly well.

I say how incompetent they are whenever I get the chance, surely you must have seen one of my million rants on the matter.
When did I ever say the effects were bad for it's time? I didn't say that once in this thread, I said they were bad because of their time, which is why I said that it's effects shouldn't be brought into the discussion.
What's so bad about the effects in Gremlins? All they did was used little puppets, what were you expecting CGI 20 years before it was widely used? While on the subject of Gremlins, when did part one come out? Also, do people like the first or the second better, I vaguely remember the first, the second was corny but funny.

Because of the second one.
Seriously though, would somebody bring back Phoebe Cates? I miss her.

I think they went overboard on the designs. And Mohawk was a terrible replacement for Stripe.

Hogan was in Gremlins 2? Didn't see that version.
Mohawk needed automatic weapons. Stripe was the meanest fucker to ever eat chicken after midnight.
