She's not whoring herself out. Actually, she was offered as much as $200,000 from various publications in return for exclusive pictures of little Ethan, and she turned it down. She's such a wonderful person.

That would be the death of modern football. More people who look like that means less super-attractive footballers which means less media attention. Less media attention means people will stop watching and it'll stop being the most popular sport in the world.

I could guarantee you it wouldn't make a difference. Celebrity has a way of making people seem attractive when they're not. I'm sure many of the footballers you think are super-attractive are actually pretty average looking. Give them a job as a white-van man and you wouldn't be stalking them taking pictures to put on the net. |

Football is one big media-controlled mass these days, and a lot of its popularity in the UK is down to what they look like, who they marry etc. Look at Beckham. It'd still be popular, but you can't deny that it would lose its appeal for a lot of people.

You'd be surprised by how difficult it is to find pics of young Dannii online that are ready to be IMG'd. I wanted to do a career span thing, but most of the young pics were from when she was *really* young, and putting up a load of those would be creepy.
And Dannii isn't Kylie Lite'. She's actually the darker, more mysterious, more underground version.

You've massively undercut the percentage of fans there. The lack of hello mag deals would only hurt the footballers, not the club who wouldn't have to pay as large a transfer fee to buy a celebrity rather than a player, which would also lower their wage, meaning tickets could be sold cheaper and the attendances would go up. Beckham I feel was a bit of an anomily. He hit at the right time, when the Sky deals and the Premiership had just come into being. He was lucky that although he was a good player, he wasn't as good as the media painted him to be and he's managed to get away with it. And the media would still be there for average and yes, even the uglies. And for that I'd present to you Rio Ferdinand and Jimmy Bullard. |
